Commonly Asked Questions

Rising costs for supplies, insurance, rent, and more mean I need to adjust pricing to keep providing high-quality care. The new follow-up rate is $150, but memberships and packages offer savings for regular visits.

Packages (5-Pack: $725, 10-Pack: $1,400) are great for a set number of sessions with flexibility—no monthly commitment. Ideal post-new patient visit or for occasional care.

Memberships (Silver, Gold, Platinum) are best for ongoing care, with monthly treatments, perks like 10% off supplements, and priority scheduling. They’re designed for consistency.

You pick a tier (Silver: 1 treatment/month, Gold: 2/month, Platinum: 4/month) and pay monthly. Treatments are tailored to your needs (pain, stress, etc.).

All tiers include 10% off supplements/herbs, priority scheduling, and a free birthday Acumat + Red Light session.

Platinum adds a quarterly emergency session and monthly Acumat + Red Light session.

Acu-Glow alternates facial rejuvenation (cosmetic acupuncture, micro/nano-needling) and body acupuncture for beauty and wellness. At just $315/month, you get 2 treatments/month (ex:, Month 1: Cosmetic + Body; Month 2: Cosmetic + Body; Month 3: Micro-Needling + Body) on a 3-month cycle, with $125 savings over a-la-carte pricing.

Memberships (Acu-Wellness and Acu-Glow) use automatic drafts for convenience, charged on the day you sign up and the same day of each month thereafter. For example, if you enroll on May 9th, your card will be charged that day, then on June 9th, July 9th, and so on. If you prefer in-person payments (cash, check, HSA, or Bitcoin), just contact us at info@nolafamilyacupuncture.com to arrange it. We’re flexible!

Yes, we’re happy to arrange splitting your Acu-Wellness or Acu-Glow membership payment into two equal installments each month.. For example, $132.50 twice monthly for Gold ($265) or $157.50 for Acu-Glow ($315). Just contact us at info@nolafamilyacupuncture.com to set it up!

You’re welcome to pay your Acu-Wellness or Acu-Glow membership with cash, check, or HSA at each visit—just let us know via email info@nolafamilyacupuncture.com or Practice Better to arrange it. To secure your membership rate (ex: $135 for Silver), please book your next appointment before leaving the clinic. This ensures your session stays within the monthly cycle, avoiding the $150 a-la-carte rate for appointments scheduled later.

You can cancel your membership (Acu-Wellness or Acu-Glow) after the 3-month minimum with 30 days’ notice – no fees. If you’ve chosen split payments, both installments must be completed for the final month. Contact us at info@nolafamilyacupuncture.com and we’ll send the cancellation agreement for you to sign.

For Platinum members, if you get fewer than 4 sessions in a month due to travel or my closures (ex: holidays), you can bank one unused session for the next month (max 2 rollovers/year). For other tiers or Acu-Glow, plan your visits to maximize value, as sessions do not roll over.

We understand that life happens. If you’ll be away for an extended time, you may pause your membership for one billing cycle (1 month) during any 12-month period. Just give us at least 14 days’ notice so we can adjust your billing schedule accordingly.

No problem! If you need extra sessions beyond your Acu-Wellness (Silver: 1/month, or Gold: 2/month), you can book additional follow-up sessions at $135 each – a 10% discount off the standard $150 rate, as a member perk. For Acu-Glow patients wanting more facial rejuvenation, cosmetic acupuncture is $150, and micro/nano-needling is $250 ($100 off the standard $350 rate). Yes! Follow-ups are $150 per session – perfect if you visit less than monthly. Memberships and packages save more for regular care.

We offer family flexibility exclusively with the Platinum Acu-Wellness Membership. You may use your 4 monthly sessions to support immediate family members—such as a spouse or children living in the same household. This allows you to get the most from your membership while supporting your whole family’s well-being.

These 30-minute sessions combine Acumat (infrared heat, chakra balancing, relaxation therapy) and Red Light (cellular repair, increased circulation, boosted inner inner glow) for a spa-like experience. Free for your birthday (all tiers), monthly for Platinum members, and part of Acu-Glow’s holistic approach.

I can not speak highly enough of Erin and her knowledge and expertise! Not only is acupuncture amazing - literally taking away a 3 day migraine - but her expansive knowledge and tools at her disposal allows her to pinpoint what is going on with your body and treat accordingly. After injuring my back for years during exercise and simple everyday movements, it usually takes a week to be able to walk normal and without being stiff. Recently, it wasn't happening in 7 days so I went to NOLA Family Acupuncture. After first visit, I noticed my back muscles relaxed, but still felt discomfort on the spine. After second visit along with Back Support CR pills, my back felt great. I was able to resume my normal Crossfit workouts. I am excited to continue future sessions.

Erin is incredibly knowledgeable and not only can she speak to you about any physical pain your are having but also other ailments within the body too.
